Attendance Policy

Musical instruction is most effective when it is consistent. Your tuition payment reserves your time slot for you exclusively, and that time remains reserved for you whether you choose to attend your lesson or not. For this reason, tuition is a flat fee and is not credited or refunded should you choose to miss one or more lessons. Your instructor is here, the lights are on, and operating expenses continue.

In the event of instructor conflict or illness, a substitute instructor of comparable qualifications and standards may be provided.

Should South Jersey Music have to cancel a lesson due to inclement weather, instructor illness, or other extenuating circumstance, a make-up lesson will also be provided to you. In the unlikely event of a store cancellation, we will alert you as quickly as possible using the email and/or phone number or numbers you provide to us at registration.

Tuition & Registration Fees

 Lessons are payable Monthly. Our Monthly lesson rate is $92.00. You will not be charged for the 5^th week in any month that has 5 weeks. (You will receive 4 free lessons per year (months with 5 weeks).

When you enroll online, your first month's tuition payment will be processed within 2-3 days after your enrollment. If you enroll in the middle of a month, your tuition fees will be adjusted to reflect the actual number of lessons you will receive that month before your payment is processed.

After initial registration, $92.00 tuition per student is automatically charged every month within the first three days of the month to the credit card. Tuition is assessed monthly. The exception is if one of your scheduled lessons falls on a designated holiday as indicated below, in which case you will not be charged for that holiday.

If you wish to withdraw from the program, please complete a "Drop" form in person at the store at least ten days before the beginning of the month. Due to the technology involved, we are unable to take a drop over the phone or via email or with less than ten days' notice. Tuition and registration fees are non-refundable.

Payment Policy

Registration fees are automatically charged to the credit card you provide at the time of registration. Lesson tuition is automatically charged to the credit card you provide within the first three days of the month. We are unable to accept a registration without auto-payment consent and information.

A $20.00 NSF fee will be automatically charged to your account in the event of a declined credit card.

Any students with a tuition balance due at the 20th of the month will be automatically dropped from the program.
